Ready to move beyond pain?

  • Moving you beyond pain is our mission. We listen and truly understand how debilitating it is to live with pain. We want you, our patients, to live your life to the fullest, and want you to regain your pre pain body and life.

     

    We tailor treatments specifically to you, your body and your life. We want to work with you for as short a time as possible so you can get back to doing what you love, pain free.

  • We recommend you fill out our medical form prior to your appointment to help our Physiotherapist get to the bottom of your injury as quickly as possible.

  • Both out clinics have strength and conditioning equipment suitable for powerlifting and olympic lifting. The strength & conditioning equipment will be used as appropriate as part of your rehabilitation pathway.

  • We regularly work with children and junior athletes to manage their pain and injury. We require parents to be present at appointments. 

     

    Kate was a competitive swimmer and understands the unique pressures children and teens are under when they are training for selection camps or assessment centres for their chosen sport. 

     

    All our staff have DBS checks.

  • We are located in Regency Workshops at 48 Wayland Road in Sharrowvale. At the end of the road there are black metal gates and Sigma Physiotherapy is right ahead of you. If you are driving you can park for free in front of those gates for the duration of your appointment. 

     

    Access to the clinic is on the ground floor so if you have mobility issues we are readily accessible. 

     

    Our clinic is wheelchair accessible for receiving treatment. However our toilet unfortunately is not wheelchair accessible.

  • Our Leeds clinic is based inside PT-Health at Unit 3&4, West One, 100 Wellington Street in the centre of Leeds city centre. On street parking can be found on Lisbon Street and paid for using the app Pay by Phone. Alternatively there are 2 multi storey car parks within a 2 minute walk of our clinic. 

     

    Access to the clinic is on the ground floor so if you have mobility issues we are readily accessible. 

     

    Our clinic is wheelchair accessible for receiving treatment. However our toilet unfortunately is not wheelchair accessible.

  • We want you to be comfortable visiting us. We are accepting, supportive and work with everyone regardless of your age, physical fitness level, abilities/disabilities, gender, pregnancy/pre/postpartum, race, religion or belief and sexual orientation.

  • Our team is qualified in vestibular rehabilitation. This is an evidence-based approach to managing dizziness, vertigo, motion sensitivity, balance and postural control issues that occur due to vestibular dysfunction.

     

    If you are experiencing issues with gaze stability, balance and postural control, vestibular rehabilitation could help you. 

     

    Kate Yeoman, one of our physiotherapists has undertaken the Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation course at King's College London where she trained with some of the world’s leading Vestibular academics and specialists from the USA, Ireland and UK. 

     

    There are various diagnostic and treatment options for you if you are experiencing balance issues.
